A Stenciled Accent Wall Using The Zamira Allover Stencil
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! In our eyes, a wall is like a blank canvas. Take advantage of it and add personality to any room by giving the walls some character of their own using stencils. Wall stencils are easy to use and inexpensive so they can be the ideal way update your space. Let's take a look at a playroom accent wall using one of our Moroccan stencil patterns, the Zamira Allover Stencil.
We'd like to introduce Samantha, the crafty gal behind the blog Crafty Texas Girls. Her blog is filled with her amazing craft projects and fun family adventures. A long time ago, she had stenciled an accent wall in her playroom. It was a spur of the moment design decision and while the pattern looked great, it was uneven. Here is what the playroom looked like before the makeover.
Samantha needed to have some rooms repainted and decided to paint over the stenciled wall. She commented, "Of course-- I immediately missed it! The wall looked SO bare without anything on it." A blank wall is like a blank canvas so that's when she chose to stencil a new wall pattern. Samantha browsed our online stencil collection when she stumbled upon one of our trendy Moroccan patterns, the Zamira Allover Stencil.
With her stencil in hand, Stephanie was ready to get started on her new accent wall! She used painters tape to hold the pattern in place and painted it using a dense foam roller.
After she painted each section, she would carefully remove the stencil to reveal her pretty Zamira Allover Stencil. pattern.
