I ordered both the small size berries and small size birds and roses, along with a single chinoiserie bush for the upper wall above my home office wainscoting. I followed thetutorialscarefully for shading, using a mix of Benjamin Moore interior sample pots and acrylic matte craft paint.

At my age I wasn't able to stencil my walkway like yourtutorialsaid. I just wanted the "essence" of a wood look. So, I laid the stencil down and spraypainted. It's now perfect but it's just fine for the gal!

The stencil arrived quickly and was wellpackaged. The cuts are precise, I appreciated the separate border/ceiling stencil as this is exactly where we began the stenciling and were happy to work with a smaller piece of Mylar. Keeping the colors from bleeding over to other areas had been tricky, this is a challenging design, but it is going to be beautiful.

Small issue with theshippingthat cutting edge immediately took care of with no problem. The stenciling was way easier than I thought it would be and the results are amazing! For myself the ceiling edge was the hardest to do but gives it the perfect finished look.

The Customer service is excellent. When my stencils did not arrive, I informed Customer service, and they gave me my money back. The stencils arrived about 2. 5 weeks later on Christmas Eve. I called Cutting Edge and informed them, and I initiated the payment back into their accounts. The stencils are high quality, and they arepackagedwell. I wanted to soften and balance the look of my living room, which has a big fieldstone fireplace on one side and a plain textured wall with a TV on the other. Wallpaper seemed like a good idea, but it was costly and difficult to remove if I ever changed my mind. So I started looking into stenciling and came across this toile design from Cutting Edge. It combines elements of nature—trees, branches, bushes, birds, butterflies—and even includes a human figure and a gazebo. Since the wall is textured, I used inexpensive art brushes and hence, the stenciling process was slow. It wasn’t perfect but I got some nice compliments. For paint, I used Benjamin Moore Swiss Coffee as the base and October Mist for the stencil. The wall was originally painted in Sherwin-Williams Kilim Beige. While the process was tedious, stenciling proved to be a creative and affordable way to elevate the space.

The end result is glorious. But, wow, what a learning curve and tremendous amount of time it took to complete my kitchen floor. I was about 20 hours into the project when I felt like I finally had the technique down. I’m a professional artist and have spent my career painting and drawing, I have skills. The mastery of stenciling this pattern took a very long time. I learned SO much, from making my own sponges, to peeling the dried paint off the stencil, to how many hours I could sit cross-legged on the floor at one time - 2 hours was my max. It took me over four months the complete my kitchen floor. I don’t know how people with families and lots of pets could even tackle a project like this. I live alone with three very large cats. I also run an AirBnB so had to be mindful of when guests would be here. My floor looks amazing. But this was not a project for a first timer. How do I post a photo?

These stencils make a beautiful statement. Easy and fast, even for a beginner with a great finished project. Planning to purchase again for more projects.

I stencilled my daughters room and the stencil was incredibly easy to use and turned out better than I could have imagined! I used a sponge to apply the paint with the stencil and had no bleeding of paint, extremely user friendly!

Love the pattern. Stencil aligns well on a flat wall…but very hard to do corners. Including a top edge partial stencil was very helpful; some sort of partial side edge stencil would be helpful.
