Good morning my stencil loving crafters! Cutting Edge Stencils hopes everyone had a craftastic weekend! Now before we get into today's Stencil Stories, I want you take a good look around the room that you may have spent the most time in this past weekend. No silly, not the laundry room! Ok, maybe the room that you ENJOY spending time in. That's probably your crafting space, right? Well then why does it look so sad (and a little cluttered) when you're not in it? Have no fear, Cutting Edge Stencils is here! And we have some stenciling ideas that can help take that craft space from drab to FAB!
Here's how it all started... we came across Robyn's lovely little craft space on Instagram. (PS We love when our fans give us a shoutout on Instagram using the #cuttingedgestencils). Robyn really livened up her space by adding the bold blue Vision Allover stenciled pattern! We think it's awesome. So we started a quest to find other ways to add patterned creativity and texture to craft spaces.
Stenciled Accent Wall
Meet Jenn, the organized crafter behind the blog called Clean and Scentsible. Jenn was on a mission to transform an old space into her own crafting area. She wanted a space that was fun and girly; so she painted the wall a neutral gray and added the Casablanca Allover Stencil to glam it up! Stenciled Craft Table
So maybe a whole wall is not what you have planned. Here's another way to spice up the space. Let me introduce you to Lana, the diy crafter behind the blog Fancy Frugal Life. Armed with a can of ocean blue paint, Lana made her craft worktable sparkle with the Marrakech Trellis Stencil. Super creative, we must say!
Stencil A Craft Shelf or Craft Drawer
Just because it stores all of your craft supplies doesn't mean it needs to be a bore! Take a look at how Linda from Craftaholics Anonymous added the simple Harlequin Trellis pattern in a playful blue color to her craft shelf! It turned out fantastic, didn't it?
Or there's always craft drawers to consider. Organizing craft materials can be a snore of a chore unless your Stefanie from Brooklyn Limestone. Stefanie had some junk drawers that were in dire need of organization. Using adorable tea cups to hold her supplies she placed them on top of her Casablanca stenciled design. Love this idea!
