How To Paint A Bone Inlay Style Using the Indian Inlay Stencil Kit
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils fans. A piece of bone inlay furniture can take a huge chunk out of your wallet. That’s why we’re going to let you in on our little secret. Using a little bit of paint and our stencils can keep your bank account happy and your decor looking stylish. Simply scoop up that curbside cutie, paint it using your favorite color, and stencil it with Indian Inlay Stencil Kit. Today we’re going to take a look at some DIY furniture makeovers using our bone inlay inspired pattern.
Indian Inlay Stencil Kit
The Indian Inlay Stencil Kit that was designed by Kim Myles. It’s a gorgeous pattern that can help a DIYer achieve the exotic look of inlaid furniture for a fraction of the cost. Instantly turn curbside castoffs into treasures using this fabulous stencil!
DIY Indian Inlay Stenciled Table
We’d like to welcome back Michelle, the clever DIYer from the blog Our Crafty Mom. Michelle found a wooden table that had been tossed to the curb. While it may have been someone’s trash, it was soon to be Michelle’s treasure! She picked it up and painted it in Behr’s Marquee Compass Blue, a rich navy hue. Michelle watched how to use our Indian Inlay Stencil kit on our YouTube Channel. Then using a stencil brush, Michelle painted the intricate pattern in white on the table. Just like that she had a gorgeous bone inlay table! For more more information on this project or to see other crafty ideas, please visit Our Crafty Mom.
DIY Indian Inlay Stenciled Dresser
Next up is a clever DIY project that we spotted on a blog called Adored by Adrienne. Adrienne purchased a plain pine dresser from Ikea. She painted it a light gray hue but it was still too bland for her taste. Adrienne commented, “I’ve always loved Bone Inlay furniture but not the price tag. So I have been doing some research and discovered that you can create your very own pretty piece and it’s easier than you think!” She’s talking about using our Indian Inlay Stencil kit. Adrienne used painter’s tape to hold the stencil in place and painted it white using a stencil brush. With a little bit of patience, she had this work of art!
