Marble Veins Backsplash Stencil

Our Marble Veins stencil is just perfect for creating your own designer marble backsplash for the fraction of the price of real carrara marble! Talking about savings! Very easy to use marble stencil, so forgiving and size SM is designed to fit most backsplashes. No precise alignment is necessary, simply overlap the veins and fill in your backsplash with realistically looking marble. A tip: it looks better if you stencil some parts darker and some lighter, imperfect, just like the real marble. Don't be a perfectionist here! ;)

We included a FREE little single stencil, just to help you to get into the tighter places around moldings, light switches, tight corners etc.

Stenciling on rough or textured walls may contribute to increased paint bleed. This particular stone stencil pattern is not recommended for textured walls. For more information on stenciling on textured walls, see our F.A.Q. section.

If you want to minimize paint seepage or are using high contrasting colors, adhesive is very helpful (Elmer's spray adhesive seems to be the best). Make sure you shake the can well and lightly mist (not drench) the stencil, and let it dry for a moment before positioning it on the wall. This step will prevent the adhesive residue transferring to the wall. You'll need to re-mist the stencil after a few repeats. Clean-up tip: Spray the stencil with Simple Green to help to remove adhesive residue.
