Our Sprigs Allover Stencil pattern gives that spring feeling no matter what time of year! This beautiful stencil pattern is perfect for DIY decor and looks fantastic as an allover pattern in the entire room, as a stunning accent wall, or half way up the wall. Stenciled in "tone on tone" colors it gives that dreamy, ethereal feeling that is so comfortable to be surrounded by. This floral allover pattern would also work well stenciled on fabric for curtains or table runners. So easy and fun to improve the style of your home with stencils.
If you compare our stencil thickness, size, design quality and prices, you will be amazed at the value that Cutting Edge Stencils offer!
This design comes with a Free Top Edge stencil: the top part of the design cut as a separate smaller stencil. It makes it easy to fill those gaps in the pattern close to the ceiling.
Stencil features an easy registration system, just use parts of the previously painted design to align the stencil, check for level and continue. This gives you a seamless "wallpaper" look. Don't worry about super perfect alignment: in the end your eye will never ever notice the discrepancy.
Want to learn how to stencil an interlocking allover pattern? Easier than you think! Here are the detailed illustrated step-by-step Damask/Allover Stenciling Tips.
And make sure you watch our short step-by-step Video Tutorials!
You'll find them extremely helpful for your stenciling project. While prior experience is helpful when working with repeat interlocking stencils, even beginners get great results!
Try this stencil with our new Clip-on Stencil Level, (sold separately) and discover how easy it is to achieve perfectly level results without dealing with all those bulky heavy bubble levels and annoying laser levels.
Although our stencils do not require the use of spray adhesive, this pattern could benefit from it to help minimize paint seepage, especially if your walls have a slight texture to them. (Elmer's spray adhesive seems to be the best). Make sure you shake the can well and lightly mist (not drench) the stencil, and let it dry for a moment before positioning it on the wall. This step will prevent the adhesive residue transferring to the wall. You'll need to re-mist the stencil after a few repeats. Note: you will still need to hold the stencil in place with a few pieces of blue painters tape! Adhesive by itself is not enough to hold the stencil on the wall. Clean-up tip: Spray the stencil with Simple Green to help to remove adhesive residue. Please note that once you've used spray adhesive on your stencil, it will never really come off completely. That is why we personally prefer not to use adhesive, and instead use less paint on your roller or stencil brush.
Did you know you can stencil on fabric too? You can create custom stenciled curtains, pillows and table cloths with our stencils. When stenciling on fabric, stencil adhesive is very helpful. First, tape your ironed fabric to the surface so it doesn't move around while you stencil. Use stencil brushes, or roller, and add some textile medium (sold in craft stores) to your acrylic paint. You can also get a special fabric paint, but, frankly, good craft acrylics with a dollop of textile medium work just as well, and costs way less too! :) Let the stenciled image dry completely, 24 hours is best, then heat-set it by ironing the fabric for about 20 seconds (more or less) on a LOW setting through the piece of cloth. Heat-setting will cure the paint and prevent it from being washed off in the washing machine. Always experiment with a sample of your fabric first to ensure good results. I've stenciled on silk, cotton, linen and even sheer fabrics with great results. It's always better if your fabric doesn't have too much texture.
All of our stencils are made of thick, sturdy but flexible 12 mil clear plastic, reusable, easy to clean and stenciler-friendly. In our 20+ years of professional stenciling this material has proven to be far superior than any other material we used, including the industry standard 8 mil mylar.
We are certain you'll notice the difference and will love working with it, just like all the folks who already bought our stencils.
Our stencils are made to last and with proper care and storage will serve you for a long time.

"The pattern is beautiful but the thickness of the stencil made it impossible to bend in corners."
"The stencil is beautiful. Exactly what I wanted. Thank you also for the great service."
"Results look great but the intricacies of the pattern makes it difficult to “really clean” the stencil. The heavyweight quality of the stencil though does help and allowed for reuse."
"Came out great! Weekend project to paint an accent wall in our office. It's certainly a bit of work, but the outcome is gorgeous. Our wall had a little bit of texture on it, so to reduce bleeding, we used stencil spray and painted by hand with a brush, which did a fairly good job. A little bit of bleeding here and there was unavoidable, but we just touched up with a small brush where necessary, and I think the small imperfections gave the whole wall a very done-by-hand feel. One note: We didn't bother cleaning the stencil after each tessellation, which over time meant paint started to clog up some of the smallest stems in the stencil. We spent some time peeling the paint out of those with our nails. Wasn't a big deal, but we didn't plan or budget time for it, so you may have to do the same if you're doing a big wall and not cleaning the stencil. Overall, if you're up for the work of stenciling at all, I recommend this one."
"This stencil is excellent quality and fairly easy to use. It was tricky around corners and light fixtures etc but the pattern is very forgiving. In my opinion adhesive spray is not necessary. The end result is beautiful and I'm really pleased. Would be great if you could include a few smaller pieces of the pattern for those hard to reach areas. Overall I would definitely recommend and will use this stencil again!"
"Lovely pattern and easy to use. So worth the cost and time as now I have a custom feature wall in my master bedroom."
"I loved this stencil so much I used it for two separate rooms. One of them was a bathroom with lots of small oddly shaped spots. The organic forms of this stencil are great if you're working in a spot that's tricky to line up properly, everything blends in really well even if you make a mistake."
"I just love the stencil, but it was a bit difficult to use because of it's intricate cuts esp. where I had to turn the corner. I had to cut the stencil in order to finish in hard corners. Also, I tried the spray adhesive trick and it really made it hard to clean, which I had to do several times. Overall, I really love the end result."
"I have never used a stencil before and ordered the Sprigs Allover stencil after watching videos on how to stencil. I was impressed with the quality and ease of use, and I love the end result. I have had tons of compliments!"
"I stenciled 2 walls with the Sprigs Allover stencil. It's made with thick material and was easy to use. My husband was skeptical until he saw the first section and he suggested the additional wall."
