An Antico Stencil Idea and Chances to Win a FREE Cutting Edge Stencil!
Happy Thursday my DIY stenciling friends! We at Cutting Edge Stencils have been busy bees thinking about all the new stencil design we want to create with the help from our fabulous fans. In case you missed you might want to read this and this. We've also been in complete awe of the awe-inspiring stencil projects that some of DIY blogger friends have recently created! Want to hear more? Sure! Let's get started... Unexpected Elegance Antico Stenciled Accent Wall Meet Angela, the crafty DIYer and creative mastermind behind the blog Unexpected Elegance. Angela always knew she wanted a dark and dramatic bedroom. She also knew that she wanted her walls to have some texture but she didn't want a high contrast pattern. So she painted her walls a mysterious gray (similar to Benjamin Moore's evening dove 2128-30) then she stenciled the Antico Stencil in a shade that was slightly darker than her base coat. This gave her the slight texture she was looking. If you love the colors she's chosen try stenciling in Benjamin Moore's abyss 2128-20 to get a similar look. Angela gives her readers some great tips like, "I got a clip-on level and it made the job go such quicker and easier. I was amazed at how fast I got a wall done!" We love the look of her dramatic bedroom! Angela says, "I am in LOVE with the new color and design." And we can understand why. It's GAW-GEOUS!

Thanks for reading, and happy stenciling!
