Good Morning, my DIY crafters! How does that craft space of yours look right now? If it has become a cluttered and disorganized sight for sore eyes then Cutting Edge Stencils has some inspiration for you! Our Polka Dot Stencil is the perfect pattern to help brighten that crafty space of yours. Let's take a look... We'd like you to meet Desiree, the creative crafter and blogger from 36th Avenue. When Desiree was given the Polka Dot Stencil to test, she painted a small accent wall. Here's what it looked like. Well this whimsical dot pattern sent the craft room into a whirlwind of changes. Desiree started organizing the space to better fit her needs. Who would have thought a stencil pattern could be so inspiring? Here is what her space looked like before its major makeover. Practical but it lacked the light-hearted craft feeling she wanted for the space. Desiree says, " The Polka Dot Walls inspired the entire design behind my Craft Room. I was able to make such perfect dots with the help of this fabulous stencil by Cutting Edge Stencils." Awe super sweet! Desiree used painters tape to adhere the stencil to the wall and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern. Our clip-on stencil level can also help ensure the pattern is positioned on the wall correctly. Then she painted the circular pattern in a white hue, similar to Benjamin Moore's simply white. Here is a shot of her new craft space. After the pattern was painted on the wall, Desiree changed her decor. She always loved the natural light in this room, so she made no sew window treatments using colorful pieces of fabric. Then she added splashes of eye-catching red accessories throughout the room. Doesn't this look amazing? Desiree had this to say about her stenciling experience, "I was amazed how simple the process was of using the stencil, and how clean each polka dot came out. So fun."
