Good Morning my weekend DIY warriors! The countdown to the weekend is on and so is our countdown to all of our fabulous DIY stencil projects that we have planned. But if all you can do is dream of snuggling under your blankets in your dreamy bedroom, I totally get it! Although, who am I kidding, I have three mini monsters jumping on the bed at the crack of dawn. Ahh, but I digress.
As you’re lying in bed, if you look around and you might begin to think; hmm my sleeping space could really use a dreamy makeover. The good news is that room decorating has never been so easy with DIY stencils! We have had numerous stencil fans share stunning photos of successful DIY projects that they have completed with stencils, and you can do it too! Oh yeah and our stencil giveaway is still going on so if you haven’t entered- go enter!!
Now lets get out of bed you sleepy head! We have some stenciling to do!
First stop is this dreamy oasis of a bedroom. This gorgeous space was designed by Peggy, one of our talented fans. To create her perfect haven she used the Marrakech Trellis Stencil to accent the wall behind her bed. To recreate Peggy’s lovely bedroom, consider using Benjamin Moore wythe blue HC-143 paired with bali 702. With a bedroom like this, I’m not sure I’d want to get up!
Simply Serene! This is the only way to describe Ashley, from the Domestic Fashionista’s, bedroom. Ashley’s dream bedroom was almost all white. She said “The goal for this room was for it to feel hotel luxurious. Patterned walls and lush bedding make our room an oasis to rest our heads at the end of the day.” To get the patterned wall effect without investing in pricey wallpaper, Ashley used our Rachel’s Garden Allover Stencil. It instantly adds some depth to the all-white walls and provides that luxurious statement she was trying to achieve. To get a look similar to this consider using Benjamin Moore’s simply white OC-116 and moonlight white 2143-60.
This third bedroom is absolutely divine. Christine from Keeping up with the Cases feels that after spending so much time in her master bedroom that “If possible, it must be sanctuary. And after using our Birch Forest stencil pattern to paint the feature wall it sure is! The stencil design along with the pop of color in the turquoise headboard, sure does bring a little style and sophistication to the design of the room. Read more about her room transformation here. Or try it in your room! To get a look similar to this try using Benjamin Moore’s saybrook sage HC-114 and simply white OC-117.
Now here is a bedroom fit for a queen and her king! This stunning boudoir was was designed by decorative artist Kristen Davis. Using the Anna Damask Stencil to accentuate the grandiose headboard. This bedroom design makes it the perfect haven. To recreate this look in your space, try using Benjamin Moore’s kalamata AF-630 paired with steam AF-15.
A stunning oasis, this cool coastal breeze blue bedroom was designed by Lona, one of fabulous fans, using the Anna Damask Stencil stencil. The combination of the rich, saturated shade of blue and the elegant damask stencil add the perfect touch of drama and dimension to this lovely space.
