How did you do the contrasting cording? Just use white with a small brush?
Yes, that is what I did exactly. :)
Hi Brantlee, Yes she painted the cording white using a small brush. Happy Stenciling!
I have been searching for an answer about how the painted fabric feels to the touch and how comfortable it is. Your opinions will be appreciated.
I discuss that a bit over on my blog post (the link above)…it feels somewhat like leather. :)
Hi Rosie, That’s a great question and one that comes up a lot! Nancy talks about it on her blog post http://www.artsychicksrule.com/2014/05/painted-upholstered-chair-makeover-chalk-paint.html. Hope this helps!
Thank you for sharing Cutting Edge Stencils! Love this stencil…it really made the chair!
Hi Nancy, We love your stenciled chair. It’s so creative.
Did the old pattern show through the paint? Or was the pattern printed instead of emroidered?
Hi Benazir,
We believe the pattern did not show through the paint. Hope this helps! Happy Stenciling.
