Stencil Design Ideas to Create A Beautiful Nursery
Good Morning, my DIY parentals! Did you know more babies are born in the summertime than any other time of the year? Yup, so if you’re still putting the finishing touches on your little ones space then Cutting Edge Stencils caught you in the knick of time! Whether you’re more traditional or like to experiment with color, a pretty pattern can go a long way in completing a room. Today, we’ve got a couple of stenciled nurseries that are sure to inspire!
Pink Simple Rhyme Stenciled Nursery
Meet Nneka, the proud mama-to-be of twin girls and the blogger behind All Things Creative. She posted her adorable pink and gray nursery on her blog. After spending months trying to figure out how to decorate the nursery, she finally landed on a pink and gray color scheme since she wanted a classic looking little girl’s nursery. Nneka selected gray as a complimentary color because it’s a great neutral and will help tone down the pink. For the bottom half of the wall she painted it a color similar to Benjamin Moore’s silver dollar 1460. For the top half of the wall she painted it a color similar to Benjamin Moore’s fantasy pink 1290. Then she stenciled our Simple Rhyme Allover design, a feminine yet whimsical pattern in a color similar to Benjamin Moore’s badlands 1293. The results are absolutely adorable!
Blue Rabat Stenciled Nursery
Pink is an adorable little girl’s color but so is blue especially if you’re not so traditional. Take the lead from QuiQui305, the proud mama of Charley Christine, a lovely baby girl. She posted her adorable blue nursery on the popular nursery site, Project Nursery. QuiQui305 says, ” Although I am traditional, I am not afraid to experiment with color. I wanted to show that blue is a unisex color and looks just as beautiful in a girl’s room.” After she painted the wall a color similar to Benjamin Moore’s blue bay marina 1655, she added a pretty pattern. QuiQui305 selected our Rabat Allover Stencil, a super popular Moroccan pattern, to achieve a wallpaper like look. We just love the look of this room!
