Moroccan Stencils Transform a Master Bedroom Into A Sanctuary
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends. The color gray is soothing and serene making it a great choice for turning a master bedroom in a relaxing sanctuary. The neutral paint choice does not mean the space needs to be bland or boring. Stencil patterns are a great way to add pattern and accessories can add the perfect splash of color. One of our favorite home decor bloggers shares her stenciled master bedroom makeover featuring a popular Moroccan stencil pattern.
We’d like to introduce Jaime, the DIY decorator behind the blog A Well Dressed Life. Jaime admits that she loves to make things pretty so if you enjoy beautiful decor eye-candy then you would love her blog! When it came time to decorate her master bedroom, Jaime jumped on Pinterest and Houzz. She said, “I knew going into this one, I wanted gray- and lots of it! Grays and whites with just a pop of color (which is currently a fabulous shade of aubergine). ” Jaime had fallen head over heels for the high-end, luxurious style commonly found in Las Vegas hotels.
With a snapshot of her glamorous inspiration and her color scheme, Jaime was ready to go! She enhanced her master bedroom with a wall pattern. Wallpaper is always an option but the price and installation make it a hassle. That’s why large stencils are a great alternative to wallpaper. They are easy to customize and affordable. Jaime browsed our large collection of stencil designs and selected the Moroccan Dream Allover Stencil. It’s one of our most popular Moroccan patterns.
Jaime chose to stencil the wall behind her bed along with the large side panels on the surrounding walls. She used painter’s tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the Moroccan pattern in metallic silver over gray. Here is her Jaime’s newly stenciled bedroom.
Jaime says, “We love our master retreat!” We love the look of this sophisticated space.
Look at how the pretty pattern shimmers in the sunlight.
