Easy and Affordable Home Decorating Projects Using Stencil Patterns
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils fans. It’s no secret that our wall stencils make DIY home decorating easy and affordable. From accent walls to wall art to furniture makeovers, we have a stencil pattern to help you get the job done! Let’s take a look at some creative home decorating projects using stencil designs.
Let’s start this inspiring list of home decorating projects with December Lynd (@decemberlynd), a creative stencil fan. She shared this gorgeous reading nook on Instagram featuring our Tea House Trellis Allover pattern on an accent wall. She commented, ” A makeover for a little reading room loft – I love this space!” It’s such a pretty space and we’re sure she’ll spend hours cuddled here with a good book.
A wall art project is so simple to create and yet it can have so much impact on a room! Jenny H., a creative fan, painted our Roses Allover Stencil on reclaimed wood. We love the rustic charm of this project!
Furniture makeovers are both rewarding and impressive. Tahira used our oh-so-popular Prosperity Mandala Stencil in the center of this tabletop. She wrote on Facebook, “”Thank you for sending me the gorgeous mandala stencil. This is what I am doing with it.”
Tatiane K. was excited to share her stenciled bathroom makeover using the Brocade No. 1 Stencil. She painted the elegant damask pattern in a creamy white over gray. Tatiane said, “No tile was ripped out. With just the power of painting and a stencil this was done. I am so happy with the result. All the material for less than $150.” Awesome!
Stettiehand shared her secret to decorating success and it’s stenciling! She used our modern Resonance Wall Art Stencil on a bathroom accent wall. She posted on Instagram saying, “Just a little pop without having to hang pictures.” Love that idea!
Minali Painting is keeping it clean and classy this week with a soft golden Tamara Trellis Stencil pattern painted on an accent wall in this bedroom.
Kathy G. has slowly been making over her new home using our stencils. She was happy to share this picture of her newly stenciled living room using our Serenity Allover Stencil. She commented, ” Love the result, I’m obsessed with decorating now!”

Altho not always big fan of yellow/gold colors loved Minali Painting in her bedroom. Great combining colors and bedding with accessories.
Was hard choice since all projects are excellent. Loved re-do of bathroom vanity area, tiles and all.
Am contemplating doing accent wall in our room, want to keep room cottagey so am still deciding on which stencil to use. Been thinking a white trellis would be pretty, colors will be apple green and coral. Have rustic wood gate hubs made for me hung above bed.
Get so inspired after looking at photos of bloggers projects want to dive in to painting and refreshing stale room decorations. Also have big waterfall chif-a-robe in room want to paint. Any suggestions?
Seeing your post was wonderful way to start Monday and new week..
