Cutting Edge Stencils Shares Bedroom Decor Ideas That You Can Create With Stencils!
Happy Friday, my DIY! Cutting Edge Stencils has had so much fun playing Pretty Pattern iSpy and the Red, White & Blue version that we’d thought we’d do it again today but with a boudoir twist! It’s possible that we’re just dreaming of sleeping in this weekend. Luckily for all of us, we’ve stumbled upon some gorgeous bedrooms from one of our favorite home decor magazines, Better Homes & Gardens! As we were flipping through their sleepy slumbers, we had so much trying to spotting their pretty bedroom patterns. Let’s see if you can do the same and once you spot’em, we’ll show you how to recreate these designer items using our stencils. So let’s get started!
I Spy Two Stenciled Patterns in You! Bedroom No. 1:
Check out this ultra feminine bedroom filled with big trendy florals! This space uses a charmeuse AF-265 as a backdrop and then accents with a deep purple gray like Benjamin Moore’s englewood cliffs 1607 and a calming neutral, white whisp 2137-70. The patterns and textures give this space it’s soft feminine feel. Can you spy them in this beautiful bedroom?
The second you spotted this one you probably fell in love like us, right?! We don’t blame you. If you’re thinking about creating an accent wall in your bedroom then try using Cutting Edge Stencils’ Anemone Stripe Stencil to get the perfect big florals look.
I Spy Two Stenciled Patterns in You! Bedroom No. 2:
If bright and bold is your style then you’ll love this next bedroom! We spy some gorgeous patterns in this space, do YOU? Hint, Hint, it might be hard to take your eyes off those gorgeous spring meadow green 2031-40 walls but take a look on the bed. We knew you’d see them! As we mentioned before this whole look could be yours? Here’s how…
To get these eye catching pillows try using Cutting Edge Stencils’ Vintage Paisley Stencil and Retro Flame Stencil. Take your stencil frenzy a bit further and create a matching bedspread using the Vintage Paisley pattern. Now your newly stenciled space is all ready for you unwind and relax!
I Spy Two Stenciled Patterns in You! Bedroom No. 3:
Want a dark and dreamy bedroom? Better Homes & Gardens nailed it with their trendy gray and yellow color scheme and the eclectic mix of geometric patterns! Love this look? Then here’s how you can make it yours…
First, start with silver streak 2119-40 as a backdrop. Then toss in a Hourglass Allover stenciled throw pillow in Benjamin Moore’s artichoke hearts 382. This optimistic, happy shade of yellow will have you smiling from ear to ear! To complete your stylish space stencil the Ikat Saida Stencil on your area bedside stools and you’re all set!
I Spy Two Stenciled Patterns in You! Bedroom No. 4:
Better Homes & Gardens titled this space The Power of Illusion and the name couldn’t be more fitting. A single wall painted in a deep chocolate creates the illusion of depth in this bedroom. We bet you can easily spot the patterns in this space! This one’s too easy. Well it’s the geometric patterns that tie the accent wall to the all white walls. And here’s how you can do the same thing!
Paint your accent wall in a chocolate brown like brown horse 2108-30 . Then using our gorgeous Trellis Allover Stencil create a headboard and valence in the same chocolate brown and marscapone AF-20. Add in fun pops of inner glow 348 through the rooms accessories and you’ve created the dream space!
Which one of these bedrooms could you see yourself recreating?
Don’t stop now!:
Thanks for reading, and happy stenciling!
