The Chinese Ginkgo Stencil Is Featured on HGTV’s Leave It To Bryan
Good morning, my DIY friends! Cutting Edge Stencils is happy to share that our stencils were featured on the popular HGTV Canadian show, Leave It To Bryan. Just in case you happen to be busy (maybe using one of our New Halloween Stencils *wink* *wink*) and missed our major cable network appearance, we’re going to rehash all the juicy details of our fabulous stencil spotting. Can you feel our stencil excitement?
Leave It To Bryan: Twist and Doubt
In Leave it to Bryan homeowners get a much needed reality check in the ultimate renovation tug of war between wants and needs. Veteran contractor Bryan Baeumler chooses a space based on the biggest need and takes the blah space to ooh la la. In this particular episode Taras and Natalie are desperate to gain living space for their growing family. The reno takes a dramatic turn when Bryan gets real about their budget. Our Canadian fans can watch the episode here.
Inside Stenciled Scoop
The creative designer/stylist for HGTV, Laura Lynn Fowler, fell in love with our stencils after using our Birch Forest wall pattern in a previous episode. She browsed our large stencil collection and felt the Chinese Ginkgo Stencil would be perfect for her next project. The Leave It To Bryan team got together and transformed Taras and Natalie’s kitchen by removing a wall between the dining room and kitchen. This small change opened up the entire space without compromising on storage, function and style.
We’re so happy to see it all come together!
The Chinese Ginkgo Stencil was painted in a warm brown hue. It perfectly compliments the crisp white accents and classic decor elements in the couple’s mid-century modern kitchen.
Here is a close-up of the pretty Chinese Ginkgo pattern painted in Para Paint’s Designer Choice.
This kitchen looks absolutely stunning! We love how these decor elements come together to create such a unique space including this silgranit sink in Truffle, hand stenciled walls, and white accents.
