Well worth it!
"This stencil had clean cuts and the plastic is very durable. I used it on a wall in the worst context (textured walls with eggshell and satin finish due to being in a child's room and using sample paints to save money). So it took a few rounds to find the best technique, but once I stopped using a roller and just used a dabbing motion with a stenciling brush, I was surprised by how I could minimize the bleedthrough. I still had to go back and do touch-ups, but I can certainly imagine a very clean result had I had a non textured wall and matte finish paint. And even dabbing was easy enough to figure out and actually moved quicker than i anticipated. The stencil size was perfect! It covered a large area of wall while still remaining manageable to reposition and manipulate. The wall turned out great! And I love how it brightens the room, adds a fun focal point, and gives character and expression to my pre-teen's room while still looking sophisticated (both for as he gets a little older, and for being visible from the hallway when the door is left open). Using the spray glue, as anticipated, meant a more difficult stencil clean up. After trying several techniques, I was just going to give up. But having come to the conclusion that the stencil was worth it even for just the one use, I decided to try something crazy and spray it down with Easy-Off oven cleaner. After waiting 30 min or so and then scrubbing, I found I could get the glue and paint off. And the stencil held up."
