"I've used many brushes in my day (I'm a graphic designer and artist), and I have to give props where they are due. This brush is well designed and works elegantly for its stencling task -- covering broad areas quickly and efficiently. My only complaint is that it reeks of wet animal the first time you get it wet. You will wonder what died in your ductwork, or if your deodorant has failed you. Calm down! Stop what you are doing. Cover your paint so it doesn't dry out. Step over to your sink and give the brush a thorough washing out with a gentle soap. If you have a cosmetic or brush-only soap, use that. This is the ONLY time I'm going to tell you to get up in there as close to the ferrule as possible (you usually want to keep it dry to protect the integrity of the glue). Use your brush comb, if you have one. Rinse completely and then add brush or hair conditioner. Now rinse that out, again using your brush comb. At this point you can spin it damp dry or blot up most of the moisture with a microfiber towel and go back to using it or, if you like a more "dry brush" experience wait until it is all the way dry to go back to using it."
