Use Cutting Edge Stencils to Refurbish Old Furniture
You can’t tell me you aren’t obsessed with the look of Cutting Edge Stencils‘ Zinnia Grande Stencil design painted on this old end table! Ann Marie, from the blog Twice Lovely, used our stencils for painting a funky antique look on this piece in order to finally make use of it. After painting the maple Ethan Allan table with Satin Ivory Krylon Dual Spray Paint as a base, Ann Marie chose three other paint hues that accented the colors in the chairs’ upholstery. Then she stenciled the Zinnia Grande Stencil randomly all over the top of the table to create this awesome look! Your old room decor is not a lost cause, it just needs a little TLC from our stencils!

I am wanting to do my dining room/lounge wall using the Zinnia Grande (3 sizes) Using a sand colour background and black and white flowers? Has anyone done this and got pix or any ideas how to place the different sizes….Any ideas would be appreciated as the ceiling has a slope so an all over stencil would be difficult…would a coloured background work?? maybe Red ..just needs some oomph …I have the stencils so would prefer to use them…Thanx for any ideas
Hi Isajo, While it’s not the Zinnia Grande, I thought this post sounded really similar to what you’re trying to achieve but this person used the Funky Wheel Stencil in the various sizes http://blog.cuttingedgestencils.com/now-its-time-to-get-funky-with-stencils.html. Red or sand would both work as background colors. The Red will obviously pack a little more punch given that it’s such a bold color. Happy Stenciling! -Michelle
