Can I ask why you started the pattern a few feet into the wall and not at the top left of the wall?
Hi Shannon, We wanted to show how you could fold the stencil to fit into the corner. We recommend that you start the pattern in a spot where you can complete one vertical row. It does not need to be in the far right. Hope this helps!
Hello- I am having a little trouble with seams in my chevron stencil when I am over lapping. How can avoid this? Or maybe I’m not doing it correctly? Any advice?
Hi Theresa, Have you had a chance to watch out Chevron video? http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/how-to-stencil-videos.html#chevron It can be very helpful when painting this pattern because it describes how to position the stencil.
Can you overlay the stencil on the wet paint?
Hi Melissa,
Yes you can :) Because you are using very minimal paint on the roller you are not really using too much paint where you need to wait for the paint to dry to continue with the project. Please be sure to watch the how to video to get a better feel on the stenciling process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeFmy8kP-0k
I do hope this helps! If you have any other questions do let us know.
