Cutting Edge Stencils Shares A Charlotte Stenciled Sweetheart Table
Happy Friday, my DIY party planners! Cutting Edge Stencils knows that when it comes to planning an event these days, DIY is all the rage. We are sure you’ve noticed the endless ideas on Pinterest, which include everything from stenciled photo backdrops to stenciled table decor. While those projects were very inspirational, today’s idea takes center stage! But before we propose our concept, we have to ask, “Are you ready to say I Do to stenciling?” We sure hope so because we’re about to sweep you off your feet with this stunning stenciled sweetheart table.
Meet Helen, the DIY furniture makeover queen from Picked and Painted. Her tagline is “making ugly furniture pretty” and she has definitely succeeded in this project. Helen had an old wooden table collecting dust by sitting in her garage. It had potential but she wasn’t sure how to transform it. Here is a picture of the table that she started with…
After browsing our online stencil shop, her creative light bulb went off. Helen spotted the Charlotte Allover Stencil and said, “it reminded me of a lace tablecloth and I wanted to reflect that look on the table.” She had an idea to create a stenciled sweetheart table. The combination of the lace-like stencil and rustic painted table would be perfect for a garden event like a wedding or anniversary party! Helen quickly got to work and sanded the top of the table. Then she placed the stencil diagonally and taped it down with blue painters tape.

I’m still trying to decide what stencil I’ll use to decorate my paint cloth curtains. So many wonderful stencils, it’s hard to pick just one.
Hi Jane,
We suggest to take a look to our How to Stencil Videos, (http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/how-to-stencil-videos.html) and also placing the word “Curtains” in our Search Widow on the right hand side you will get good ideas to help you decide.
Cutting Edge stencils is the best innovator for stencil designs. Really, I am so impressed with such designs. As a tablecloth, I would always prefer stencil design. Adequate for a garden event.
Thank you jordansterne !!!
We are flattered with your comment!! :)
