Cutting Edge Stencils Shares Stenciled Chartreuse Home Decor and Room Ideas
Good morning, my color enthusiasts! You know how much we love stenciling in color here at Cutting Edge Stencils, especially after we shared our coral pink obsession. Well, we are back at it again and our most recent color obsession is chartreuse. We just can’t seem to get enough of the yellowy green hue. We feel this color is versatile and elegant. In fact, this summertime color would work well in any space in your home especially in combination with gray, turquoise, coral, brown, violet, and nearly every other color you can imagine!
Summer is on the way and bold colors are sizzling in home decor! Take this roundup of chartreuse home decor items found in House Beautiful as a sweltering example. We think these items are oh-so pretty!

Charteuse Stenciled Rooms and Home Decor
This trendy hue can look sophisticated and stylish when paired with a soft white. Take this Birch Forest stenciled accent wall spotted on Better Homes and Gardens as the perfect example. This eye-catching entryway was painted in a hue similar to Benjamin Moore’s aspen white 2027-70 and the tree pattern was stenciled in a rich lime like spring moss 2027-20.
This yellowy lime is slightly fun, fresh, and provides the perfect amount of creative energy which is ideal for a kid’s bedroom. Rita from Suburbs Mama painted our playful Polka Dot Allover stencil in white over an eye-catching hue similar to Benjamin Moore’s grape green 2027-40.
Are you not quite ready to stencil chartreuse on your walls? We totally understand and that’s why we love the idea of adding a splash of chartreuse using home decor accessories like a chest. Dora, the talented furniture creator and owner of ReUse RePurpose Upcyle painted this interesting chest. She painted the chest chartreuse and then stenciled our Lotus Grande Flower stencil in a bright white and rosy pink.
It’s a bold hue so we can totally understand if you want to introduce it in small doses. Sprinkle a bit of chartreuse sunshine in your space using home decor accessories just like these stylish examples. On the left, Wendy, an Etsy shop owner, painted this lovely white and chartreuse Chevron Craft stenciled door hanger. While on the right, Amy from Whisper Woods Cottage, hand crafted a candle holder using our Garden Birds Stencil. We think both projects are awesome!
Do you have a color obsession with chartreuse also? We’d love to read your thoughts in the comments below.
