Hi! Love your stencils etc. Just a quickie question – you mention you use navajo white – do you know the code? I am in Australia so am buying paint chips in the USA and having them posted to me, so I can get a colour match made here in Australia. The navajo white comes up with 2 options: 947 Navajo White and OC-95 Navajo White – do you know which you use? Warm regards!
Hi Charlotte, Even though there are two different numbers, its the same color. It was placed in two different color lines so you can use either to color match. Happy Stenciling! -Michelle
A really thanks for the useful tips.. they looking great
what colors did you use on faux finishing with a utility sponge above? Thanks! – Susan
Hi Susan, We used Benjamin Moore twilight gold 1069 http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/twilightgold#ce_s=1069 and Navajo White 947 http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-color/navajowhite#ce_s=nava, both in flat.
I have a white clean wall painted with semi gloss can I sponge paint a powder blue over this and get that cloud look
Hi Sheryl,
We really recommend that you use a flat paint finish as flat paint is so much more realistic. Use both the powder blue and white (flat) at the same time for a great look. Do hope this helps!
What sponge did you use here?
Hi TB,
We used a utility sponge, but you can use either a sea sponge or utility sponge for background faux finishing. :)
