Thanks!! I love the stencil and my room!!! :)
Thank you Angela!!
We love the stencil and your room as well!!! :)
Cheers!!
I’ve been hopping from one project to another. We’ll be painting our bedroom soon, the color will be coral using apple green to some extent on some of furniture and accessories. Going to be very careful not to overdo the apple green or coral. We have a 40’s chif-a-robe that will be painted apple green with white trims. The piece is a good size so think I will be toning down the apple green with some white in it to soften it. After I get walls painted and chif-a-robe painted I’ll be very careful and determined what else I paint and in what way. It’s taken me 8 yrs to finally decide on colors, recently painted our living room a very light gray with very little coral and two shades of aquas on frames, art in room. I have a small end table that is coral and aqua in room as well as couple frames on wall.
Since the kitchen is right next to l/r (l/r, kitchen and mudroom share a wall in common, watch how I paint both those rooms. Think the cupboards will be a light gray with darker gray doors on cabinets.
I have gotten so much inspiration from this website, thanks to cutting edge stencils. I’d like to perhaps stencil the inside panels of the cabinet doors with the lighter gray. I’mgoing with mostly cottage look so thought a trellis pattern on cabinet doors in lighter gray or even white would be good. Don’t want nothing but gray.Right now l/r is cottage/beachy but the beach will be going away most likely as Fall arrives.
I’m kind of planning this, tentatively, as I go along as to how it feels and sounds to me. I’m a very spontaneous person so don’t like to plan too much, things tend to change for better when I let it be loose, same for crafting projects I do. Any advice, I’m open to ideas.
Hi JaneEllen, It sounds like you’re on the right track when it comes to planning your room makeovers. A stencil would look great on the inside of your cabinet. We love a patterned surprise! The best part about our stencils is that they are reusable so you could potentially add a splash of pattern (pillow, nightstand, wall art) in one of the other rooms as well. Good luck and please share some pictures once it’s complete.
