I have a large living room that came with blue and orange 6″ ceramic tile. Would painting with stencils on so many small tiles be feasible?
Hi Kamie,
That is solely up to you. We have had plenty of people stencil right over all of their tiles and some customers have done whole tile floors over before. It all depends on if you would want to take the time and stencil your tiles.
Best,
Erika
What type of paint did she use to paint on that tile? I am seriously considering doing this in a small bathroom…..
Hi Kathy,
We are not sure of the paint she used, but any black paint will work fine. We do also recommend priming the floor first before adding your base coat. The paint sticks better to the primer than the tile directly. You can use STIX primer and I believe you an even get it tinted black so you don’t actually need to add a base coat after that. From there you can go ahead and stencil! I do hope this helps. -Erika
