Paint-A-Pillow Is A Fun Craft For A Girl’s Night In Party
Good morning, my crafty friends! Every so often you need to take a break from reality and spend time with a good group of friends. Cutting Edge Stencils totally gets it. While painting parties are super trendy right now they are also an expensive night out. There’s no need to bail on the fun just yet. Hosting your own Paint-A-Pillow party is the perfect social activity to enjoy with your friends. It’s easy to set up, and best of all, inexpensive! Using the Paint-A-Pillow party pack, you and your gal pals will create fabulous accent pillows in a snap. Come see what it’s all about!
Recently our owner, Janna, had a group of besties over her house to stencil some pillows and tote bags. Janna selected a date for the crafty gathering. Then she invited some friends and asked each one to visit the Paint-A-Pillow website (www.paintapillow.com) to pick their pillow stencil, type of cover, and paint color. Once she had all of the information, she placed the order for her party pack.
The night of her event, Janna put out a selection of homemade dips and wine for her guests to sample before they started crafting. We both know that a little bit of paint and little bit of wine can make a night with friends a whole bunch of fun!
Now if you plan on hosting a party, we suggest you watch these videos before your guests arrive.
After mingling for a short period of time, the girls were ready to start painting. Janna had set up a painting station in her dining room.
The party pack kit comes with everything for six people to complete the project including the frames, stencil, pillow cover, pillow inserts, fabric paint, roller, a brush, and a paint tray.
For step by step tips and tricks on hosting your accent pillow party, please check out this post. Right now we’re going to share with you some of the creations from Janna’s party.
This lovely lady, Nancy, painted her pillow using the Stephanie’s Lace stencil pattern and Jacquard Fabric paint in magenta. To complete her craft, she added white designer tassels.
This eye-catching cutie was painted using the Taj Mahal pattern, a white pillow cover, and the Jacquard Fabric paint in Terre Verte.
Now Janna and her friends didn’t stop with just painting pillows. They also painted some adorable tote bags. Canvas tote bags can easily fit into your Paint-A-Pillow frame and make painting totes fun.
See all those smiles? Looks like these girls enjoyed their craft session!
