Stencil Patterns Are Perfect For DIY Home Decor Projects
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends. We’ve had our eye on a trendy stencil design these days, the Sophia Trellis Stencil. This Moroccan pattern comes in three sizes, a small and large allover and a pillow/tote size. To show you how versatile and easy-to-use these stencils are, check out five DIY stencil projects from our creative fans.
Greet your guests with stenciled style using the Sophia Trellis Allover Stencil! Stephanie, from Casa Watkins, painted this pretty pattern in a green hue and accentuated it with thrifty finds. She said, “I am super thrilled with the results! I used the Sophia Trellis Stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils to give the wall a new look. I added 5 little blue birds, one for each family member, for a bit of fun.“ We love the subtle print and eclectic style of her entryway. Great job, Stephanie!
Sometimes an awkward bathroom wall just needs a splash of pattern. Theresa, a regular Hometalk contributor and avid DIYer, gave her bathroom a budget-friendly makeover using our Sophia Trellis Stencil. The wall was painted in a cocoa brown colored hue and she stenciled the Moroccan wall pattern in a creamy white. We love the new look!
Believe it or not, a subtle wall pattern can have a big impact on a room. Rachel shares her dining room makeover on her blog Craving Some Creativity. In this space she chose a monochromatic color scheme and varying paint sheens for the Sophia Trellis wall design. Rachel had this to say about her stencil project, ” I think it is elegant and fresh looking. ” We totally agree!
Now this beautiful allover pattern is not exclusively used on walls. In fact Kristi, a creative fan, stenciled a custom set of curtains using the Sophia Trellis. She used a paint pen and the allover trellis pattern to hand-craft the perfect set of curtains.
Alli Renee, the crafty gal behind the Alli Renee Blog, personalized her front porch with a stenciled door mat. She was super excited to use the Sophia Trellis pattern to spruce up the entrance of her home. Alli Renee taped the stencil to the doormat and then used a dense foam roller to paint it in white. It was that simple! She commented, “Super easy and inexpensive!”
