In case this is your first time dropping in, our 12 Days of Stenciling is our promise to share stenciled DIY projects that will hopefully make your gift-giving season a little less stressful and provide inspiration to help brighten your home for the holidays. Make sure you check out the projects from day 1 and day 2!
Now where were we? Oh, that’s right we were prettying up our home for the holidays. Festive decor can transform the mood of a room by instantly adding joy and happiness. But holiday décor shouldn’t have you breaking open the piggy bank which is why stenciling can be the perfect solution! Let’s use Kelly’s jaw-dropping gorgeous mantel decor. Kelly the crafty blogger behind Eclectically Vintage, recently created this mantel décor. She found an old piece of decking at the local dump and saw great potential for the piece of scrap. She used our Birch Forest Stencil, white craft paint, and festive lights to transform it into this treasure. Kelly says, “A birch forest stencil was all it needed to make it joyous.” We couldn’t agree more! PS. She’s hosting a huge stencil giveaway on her blog right now that will give one lucky winner a $100 stencil credit, so go enter!
While Kelly’s project is pretty impressive we started thinking, why wait to WOW your guests once they’re inside? Great your guests with impressive door décor and watch their smiles spread from ear to ear!
Today’s project of the day is a Stenciled Door Décor.
Meet Wendy, the incredibly crafty DIYer behind the Etsy shop, Painted Timber. She’s been a busy stenciling bee crafting festive door décor using our Chevron Craft Stencil. She seems to have created something for everyone and we’re gonna admit that we’re slightly in love!
Want a wreath that will last through the whole season? Then this wooden stenciled door wreath is perfect for you! Wendy crafted this using 1/2 inch water resistant wood, craft paint, and our Chevron Craft Stencil. Then she personalized it with a initial charm. Adorable!
Now if you’re looking to greet Santa in style, then look no further than this Kriss Kringle inspired wooden door hanger! Wendy also created this project using 1/2 inch water resistant wood, craft paint, our Chevron Craft Stencil, and a touch of white fur!
We’re pretty sure the local neighborhood kids won’t be throwing snowballs at this Chevron stenciled cutie! Doesn’t this snowman door hanger bring a smile to your face?
Here is a silver Chevron stenciled door hanger topped with a burlap bow that screams stylish and classy!
