LOVE THIS! I am an experienced crafter but I had a hard time stenciling the walls by myself. The adhesive spray I bought with the stencil only stuck once. My frog tape didn’t hold well either (it might have been too hot and humid). My hands got all covered with paint from holding the stencil and then I’d have to frequently put the stencil down to refill tray with the few tablespoons of paint recommended. When I put the stencil down on the newspaper adhesive side down it would stick, when I put it down paint side down it would stick. ARGH!
It looks really pretty and I get lots of compliments so I guess it was worth it.
I’m going to try this paint marker idea with my Moroccan trellis stencil, but I’m going to experiment it on pillows first!
Hi Trudy, That’s an awesome idea. You may also want to check out our sister company Paint-A-Pillow (www.paintapillow.com). It’s an innovative stenciling kit that will allow you to create your own designer accent pillows in a snap.
