Cutting Edge Stencils Shares Floral Stenciled Spaces!
Happy Monday, my stencil lovin’ peeps! It’s officially Spring and after this long winter I think we all have a little stencil Spring fever. So let’s kick up our heels and celebrate! After all isn’t Spring nature’s way of saying “Let’s PARTAY!” Well, you’re luck is in full bloom my DIY friends! Today Cutting Edge Stencils has a bouquet of glamorous floral stenciled spaces that are sure to inspire.
Let’s take a stroll through the garden of stencils…
As we open the garden gate, our first stop is at over at our friend, Kristine’s blog, Lakeshore Cottage Living. Kristine was creating the perfect room for her little girls when she stumbled upon the Allium Grande Stencil. To give it her own flair, she added the stem with a sponge brush. Kristine says, ” This was so easy to do…it took me about 20 minutes for each allium. I think they add a lot to the room. ” We think it does too!
Ever feel like just stopping and smelling the roses? How about the Allium Gladiators? Well our fan, Jan McQueen doesn’t have to because she created her own painted garden using the Allium Gladiator Stencil. On her three canvas split, the floral decor adds the perfect touch to her space.
Looking to make your space flourish? Look no further! Kate from Centsational Girl wanted to give her closet a feminine and boutique feel. Originally she considered wall paper but it was way too expensive so she opted for an even better design solution, the Budding Clematis Stencil. She chose Benjamin Moore’s mellow pink 2094-70 for the walls and then stenciled in champagne and silver metallic paint. We love the whimsical touch, don’t you?
Now floral can also make a powerful color statement! Sarah, the fab DIY blogger from A Little of This, A Little of That wanted designer looking curtains for her little girl’s nursery. After purchasing $10 panels from Ikea she put her Parsley Blooms Stencil to good use. She crafted these stunning DIY curtains to complement the purple decor. Sarah says, “They are bright, and a little on the modern side. It goes well with the rest of the nursery!” You got it, girl!
Here is a beautiful room that will make you want to run through the Poppy Fields! Brandy, the crafty gal from the Gluesticks Blog, wanted to add a lovely flower accent to her daughter’s room because she loved flowers. Brandy says, “So it just seemed appropriate to incorporate her love of bright colors and beautiful scents into her new bedroom.” She picked out the Poppy Field Stencil and painted it in some bright colors. Giving it the crafty touch, she added some bees and butterflies. Adorable, don’t you agree?
