the mandala is something very airy, something very unwordly, while the wood to be used as a base of this airy thing is stable, as a tree with roots.
maple oak, because I see those leaves in it.
I, too, see maple or oak. I also see gaelic influences in this mandala. I have a few latin suggestions: Alatera, Alatura, Alatoria- all of which mean a covered walk/way or piazza. Also, Annatae- which means first fruits; if that is what this is of this sort. And finally, Arrabillis- which I neglected to note the meaning of.
