Stencil Designs Featured In HGTV Magazine’s September Issue!
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! As if the weekend approaching wasn’t enough reason to celebrate, we has some pretty spectacular news. We just are overjoyed to see our stencil patterns were featured in one of our favorite DIY publication, HGTV Magazine. Before you rush off to buy the September issue, let’s talk about the details of this recent stencil sighting.
Stylish Stencil Decor Used In A Living Room Makeover
The popular home decorating publication shares how to make your space go from average to amazing with simple, yet stylish, decorating projects. The special section titled Mega Makeover kicks off on page 107. The publication introduces Kurt Waples and Georgina McNiff from Stamford, CT. The happy couple have come super close to decorating their plain beige living room several times however they had trouble committing to a style. Paralyzed by decorating fear, the couple left their home in builder beige. HGTV Magazine arrived ready to makeover the space with paint, color and pattern.
The first thing they did was paint the living room in Sherwin Williams Aqualuxe, a bold blue that gives the space a blast of energy. To balance out the dramatic paint color, the publication filled the space with furniture in easy-on-the-eyes neutrals. Next up, they needed to introduce some patterns. That’s where we step in! The creative magazine used our stenciled accent pillows to add playful patterns in hand-picked colors. The all-in-one pillow cover and stencil kit makes it easy to design custom throw pillows on a budget.
Are you curious about how they created those eye-catching accent pillows? HGTV Magazine spills the beans about this fab DIY decorating project on page 113. The pillow covers are held snug in a stencil frame to minimize movement.
