Not surprisingly, there is a growing trend in home decor and fashion to combine the neutral and versatile gray, with lively and warm yellow tones. It goes back to the basics of yin and yang; finding that perfect balance between two colors and the emotions they evoke when entering a space.

Greg and Janna love their new Chrysanthemum Grande stencil feature wall. “It only took us a couple of hours and has really changed the whole feel of the room,” says Janna, “We wanted to create a space that was fun but also where we could just relax; gray and yellow represent both of those feelings so nicely and also just look beautiful together.” To get a similar look as Greg and Janna’s feature wall, use Modern Master Champagne metallic paint (look for this at your local Benjamin Moore location), Benjamin Moore Yolk 2023-10 for the yellow flowers and Sea Haze 2137-40 for the gray flowers.
