Our house and garden were recently featured in Arts and Crafts Homes Magazine. We had so much fun designing, building and decorating this home that we’ve since sold. The project started as a humble, one-story ranch which we gradually transformed into a beautiful arts and crafts style home. It served as a canvas for our artistic experiments. We applied some innovative wall finishes, like chopped sea grass mixed with plaster for a rustic, medieval look in the great room, some unusual stenciling on a drop ceiling in the music studio, and even stenciled faux wood inlays on the kitchen island.
