This Large Fish Fossil stencil is a part of our Prehistoric Fossil stencil kit, but can also be purchased separately.
These Fossil stencils are so cool! Each stencil design was hand drawn based on a real fossil for accuracy. Check out the detail! These stencils look great painted, or done dimensionally with the plaster of your choice. Let the plaster dry, then add some brown antiquing glaze, and you've got a realistic prehistoric fossil of a creature that lived over 400 million years ago. Great for wall decor, kitchen and bath backsplashes, kids rooms, and even on canvas panels as art, they look that good. We offer these stencils as a Fossil Stencil Set, and you can also buy them individually.

Try adding scales to your dimensional fish by troweling plaster through a piece of plastic mesh (not included). This is done after your first process has fully dried.
