Cutting Edge Stencils Shares A Family Command Center!
Welcome back, my DIY crafters! Do you ever feel like your life is in total disarray? Between work, school commitments, fundraisers, and extracurricular activities it can be difficult to keep up. Oh, and we haven’t even hit the holiday season yet! The good news is that Cutting Edge Stencils has an inspirational family command center to share with you today. And while you’re putting this organized zone into tip top shape, keep in mind that it also needs splashes of color and personality. Let’s take a look…
We’d like you to meet Vanessa, the creative crafter and blogger for See Vanessa Craft and a local Arizona blog. She’s also a busy mamma with two little ones. So it was no big surprise that she decided to create a family command center to help keep her busy family organized and informed. The command center was going to be in her laundry room which is also the entrance through the garage. Since it’s not a large space, she needed to be crafty. We know that’s not a problem for Vanessa! The main motivation for the command center was to de-clutter the kitchen counter. The counter had become a dumping ground so she wanted this new command center to house all the items they typically placed on the counter. Vanessa had this to say about her new space, “I love that the first thing we now see when entering our home is a happy space, full of vibrant colors and organization!”
Along with the wall of organization, Vanessa also added a bench and shoe storage. The bench was functional but it needed some pretty patterned accent pillows.
Here’s how her accent pillows turned out. We think they add a little burst of sunshine to this organizational space.
Vanessa decided to complete her space with some stenciled wall art. She used our Home Is Where The Heart Is stencil on a piece of pallet wood and plans on hanging it on the wall opposite the bench. Vanessa comments, “I just love how easy and inexpensive it is to personalize a space with a little stenciling.”
