Stencil Design Ideas to Create the Picture Perfect Little Boy’s Room

But Cutting Edge Stencils is here to ask,”Do you know what little boy’s rooms are made of?” If you guessed picture perfect patterns then you guessed right! Decorating your little boys room can be such a fun adventure; from choosing the paint colors to adding the perfect room decor such as wall stencils.
And Cutting Edge Stencils is here to hold your hand through the decorating process by showing you some awe- inspiring stencil designs that will be just perfect for your little guy! Can stencils work for a little boys room, you ask? Of course they can and today’s Stencil Stories features two gorgeous stenciled nursery ideas for your little boy…
Small Child, Big Color, Bold Mermaid Stencil
Meet Danielle, who is the proud mama of a bouncing baby boy, Felix. She posted her adorable Tintin inspired nursery on Apartment Therapy. Danielle stenciled the Mermaid Stencil throughout her son’s room in a beautiful shade of blue. Danielle says, “For a child’s room, one can’t go wrong with too much color. Color has the power to transform a space or even piece of furniture into something magnificent!” To get this look she used Benjamin Moore’s Desert Tan 2153-50 on the wall and stenciled with Sheer Romance 837. Adding some powerful pops of color through red, teal, and blue accents in the space. Danielle wanted a magnificent nursery and I’d say she nailed it! Don’t you agree?
Modern, Mixed Patterns Nursery
Meet Katy, the proud mama to Colton and crafty DIY enthusiast behind the blog Kick It Together. Katy loves modern patterns, bold colors, and most importantly doing the projects herself! When she found out she was expecting a little boy her DIY monster truck wheels started turning. She agreed with her husband that the nursery theme would be modern patterns, like the Rabat Stencil, and elephants. Katy’s favorite element in the little boy’s room is the Rabat stenciled wall since she completed it herself. She says, “It makes the room unique and add that modern twist to the nursery.” To get a look similar to this consider using Benjamin Moore’s crystalline AF-485 and steam AF-15. This is definitely a room that little Colton will spend many years enjoying. It’s absolutely adorable, don’t you think?
