Meet Tricia, an interior design enthusiast and one of the creative DIYers behind the blog Suburban Bitches.  About ten years ago they purchased an all white table from Crate and Barrel.  They had hoped this table would survive through the destructive years of their three active kids.  In a battle of the tots vs. the table, the lovable tots won.  After about four years, the table top was wearing off in huge patches leaving a yellow and ugly surface.  Rather than toss the beaten table aside, Tricia decided to give it a facelift using stencils.  She used our Outside of the Box Craft stencil in Martha Stewart Living Metallic Paint in Golden Pearl.  Glittering gold and a geometric stencil pattern transform this table from drab to fab.  If you love this look then you can get the step-by-step tutorial on her blog. Rabat Stenciled Kitchen Table

Next up, we want you to meet Shara, the crafty DIYer behind the blog The Little Gray Table.  Shara was frustrated with her kitchen table.  It was either too small without the leaf or too big with the leaf.  So she went on a quest for a new one that could fit six people comfortably and fit in her kitchen area.  She was super excited to land a FREE table from Craigslist but it needed some love.  The top of the table had several deep scratches and the legs had been painted a creamy white.   So Shara put her crafty thinking cap on and decided to repaint the entire table a creamy white using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White.  After it was painted, she added a pretty stenciled pattern using our Rabat Allover pattern with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Paris Gray.  Shara had this to say about her kitchen table makeover, “I am absolutely in love with this table. It is so beautiful in person. I just want to stare at it all day!”  Aw, we love hearing stories like this!  We think this table transformation looks pretty awesome too.
