Cutting Edge Stencils Shares Five Flattering DIY Projects Using the Fuji Stencil
How’s all my DIY stencil enthusiasts! Are you anxiously crossing off the days of the week in anticipations of this weekend’s stencil projects? Before you make any grand plans, today Cutting Edge Stencils wants to share some diy projects using one of our Geometric stencil patterns, the Fuji Stencil! I would probably call this stencil design one of our hidden gems. It’s a Japanese-inspired stencil that was prompted by traditional Japanese kimono patterns of the Edo period. Bet you didn’t know that! Oh yeah, and it’s one of the easier Geometric stencils to use. So if you are a first time stenciler and you have a passion for geometric patterns then the Fuji is the stencil for you! Bring on the Fuji inspiration….
1. Stenciled Accent Wall
Meet Katherine, a self-proclaimed interior design junkie and the blogger behind KM Decor. Katherine felt like she was living inside a beige cardboard box. Since her and her husband had neglected to decorate their master bedroom in their previous home, she was determined to turn her new space into the perfect cozy retreat. She painted her walls a dark gray and then stenciled the Fuji pattern in a soft white. The result? An absolutely dreamy master bedroom!
2. Like the Ceiling Can’t Hold Us!
3. Curtain Call!
Have you been lusting over a set of designer curtains that are WAY outside your budget? Put your wallet down! Before you purchase anything, I want you to meet Arielle and her husband Andrew, who were in your exact position not too long ago. This lovely couple are both DIY weekend warriors and the bloggers behind Simple House Expressions. Arielle recently took the plunge and created her own DIY curtains to block out her neighbors flood light (kind of a funny story). She mentions how much she loves her new curtains and goes on to say, “For my first ever stenciling attempt, I call this a success.” I think we’re going to agree with her!
4. Pretty Up That Office Cabinet
5. Fuji Stenciled Wall Art
We all need to have a stenciled aspect in our life, right? But there are times when you just can’t take on stenciling a whole wall. That’s how Kate felt when she was designing her new salon. She had recently won the Fuji Stencil and was dying to put it to good use. Unfortunately due to various circumstances, she just couldn’t stencil the whole wall. That’s when her Mom, who’s also an interior decorator, stepped in with the idea of stenciling some large canvas’s to achieve the same effect. Gosh, Moms really do know everything! Kate stenciled four large pieces of canvas. AH-MAZING! Check out her blog, The Small Things Blog for the full salon reveal.
So that’s it stencil friends! Which one of these Fuji Stenciled projects do you FANCY?

I stenciled my foyer with a large stencil from a hobby shop near me. I admit, it was more in line with my budget. However, it was very difficult to stencil near the ceiling, wood moulding, etc due to the pattern not being closer to the edges of the stencil. I’m pretty sure I got what I paid for. Should try your stencils and will probably have a better outcome.
