A Stenciled Craft Room Makeover Using Geometric Stencils
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Is your craft space a pile of stress and ribbons, devoid of inspiration? Yikes! If it is, then you better keep reading. Paint and stencil patterns can easily uplift your space without breaking the bank. Today we’re sharing a craft room makeover using one of our allover stencils. Come take a look…
We’d like you to welcome Tiffany, the creative DIYer and blogger behind Worthwhile Domicile. Tiffany has been working on making her house a home with one DIY project at a time. She had a space in her home that she planned to turn into a craft/office area. Here is what the space looked like after it was painted with primer.
A white room is like a blank slate with thousands of possibilities. Tiffany browsed Pinterest and found her inspiration. It was a yellow and white space with bold splashes of color. Tiffany loved the idea of adding a wall pattern but commented, ” I don’t want to spend a ton on wallpaper.”
After each stencil design was painted, Tiffany would un-tape the stencil and reposition it until her wall was painted. She wanted her pattern to mimic wallpaper so she stenciled the entire room. Once the stencil was complete, Tiffany stepped back to admire her handiwork.
Tiffany refinished the floors and added some white cabinetry to hold her crafting supplies.
For pops of color she chose a fabric that had a bold floral pattern. She used it to make a cushion for the window seat and curtains.
